How to Serve & Other Frequently Asked Questions

Cake flavors are subject to ingredient availability and may vary depending on seasonal ingredients.

All cakes are two-layered rounds, available in:

  • 7” (10-12 servings)
  • 9” (18-20 servings)

Keep your cake frozen until ready to serve. Thaw at room temperature for the following times before adding candles or slicing:

  • 7” round: 15 minutes
  • 9” round: 20 minutes

Once sliced, return the cake to the freezer immediately. Avoid leaving the cake sitting out after slicing to prevent it from melting.
Pro Tip: Slice the whole cake in advance, serve, and return the rest to the freezer for a quick second slice whenever needed!

For maximum flavor, store your cake in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.

Unlike traditional cakes, which need to be picked up the day of the event, Ice Dream Cakes can be delivered or picked up days before the party, offering a stress-free experience for the hostess.

Cake containers are designed to fit your cake securely:

  • 7” round: 10” W x 5.75” H
  • 9” round / 8” heart: 12.75” W x 5.5” H

A variety of cake toppers to personalize your cake can be found on websites like Amazon and your local craft store.

Cutting your Ice Dream Cake is easy! For maximum yield:

Round Cakes: Cut the cake in half, then quarters. Cut the quarter sections into slices based on the cake's yield. The slices will be a wedge.

Heart-Shaped Cake: Cut the cake in half, then cut eight straight slices into each half. The slices will be a rectangle.

Remember, if you're serving multiple people, slice the whole cake in advance and return the rest to the freezer to avoid any melting.
